THERE IS A REAL FOCUS ON COLLABORATION.
I’m encouraged and expected to make a difference to the wider world.
I’M INTERESTED IN EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES AND THE IMPACT THEY HAVE ON BUSINESS AND SOCIETY.
I'm interested in vast, globally scaled systems and exploring how cyber systems can work together with social systems for the common good.
TELL US OF A FUTURE YOU’D LIKE TO CREATE AND WE’LL GIVE YOU THE RESOURCES TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN.
SO, IT’S ESSENTIAL THAT I WORK NOT ONLY WITH THE PEOPLE WHO ARE DEVELOPING THESE TECHNOLOGIES –
like the science and technology faculty – but also with others from geography and environment disciplines. I’ve been here for only six months but in that time I’ve met more people and made more connections than I would have thought possible.
THERE IS A REAL FOCUS ON COLLABORATION AND FURTHER DEVELOPING THE RESEARCH CULTURE HERE.
I’m taking full advantage of this to expand my network, my knowledge and my opportunities within an environment where I’m encouraged and expected to make a difference to the wider world.
